I hope I get more readers and discussers here:

Consider this...

As many people have, I have been pondering whether our world is truly in the beginning stages of the apocalypse. There is a great deal of correlation between the present events and the Biblical description of what Armageddon will be. I do plan on reading the Bible tonight to gain a better understanding of what it claims, but for now I must admit I am not very familiar with the particulars. I do know that the Bible claims: there will be war in the Middle East, there will be the rise of a religion attempting to unify all religions (Bahai), there will be great natural disasters that will destroy lands and kill the people of the land. Poverty, disease, an increase of immorality, anarchy and chaos are basic concepts involved. Looking at history, though, there should have been many apocalypses by now. When is not at least a part of the Middle East at war? How many cities lost and horrible catastrophes have occurred already? In what way is unifying all religions a new idea? Is it not possible that the chapter Revelations found in the Bible is based on historical observation? History is something that is continually repeating itself. Knowing this prophecy is not impossible to form accurately. Why are so many of us convinced that the decrease of morals is in fact present? When studying history we learn things just as immoral and evil were happening then.
